Dr. Williams came to Farmington and started San Juan Plastic Surgery in July of 2000. He was born in Charleston, Illinois where he grew up and attended high school. He attended Eastern Illinois University where he was a member of both the pre-medical and chemistry honor societies and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He then attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale and Springfield, Illinois where he earned his medical degree. Following the completion of medical school, Dr. Williams completed a general surgery residency at Michigan State University which also included a one year research fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He then returned to Springfield where he completed his Plastic Surgery fellowship training and is now board certified in both general and plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery .

Dr. Williams performs a wide variety if surgical procedures including cosmetic facial and body surgery, reconstruction of facial and body deformities for congenital, traumatic and cancer disorders, all aspects of hand surgery including elective and traumatic hand disorders, and congenital deformities such as cleft lip and palate repair, ear pinning, and hand abnormalities.

His personal interest include skiing, hunting, fly fishing, mountain biking and playing music.

Dr. Hutchison is excited about moving to Farmington and joining San Juan Plastic Surgery this month.

His wife, Maureen A. Hirthler, MD, will be starting as an Emergency Medicine physician at SJRMC in August, 2009. They moved to the area due to the nature of their new medical practices, their interests in Southwest archaeology and geology, and because it was one of the few areas they could agree on.

He was born in Rolling Meadows, Illinois where he grew up and attended high school. He attended Northwestern University and graduated with a bachelor's degree with distinction in Biomedical Engineering. He then attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree. Following the completion of medical school, Dr. Hutchison completed a general surgery residency in the Philadelphia area at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and at Cooper Hospital/UMC. He completed his fellowship training in Plastic Surgery at St. Louis University, and is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons .

Dr. Hutchison has been practicing plastic surgery and hand surgery since 1990, with practices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Fairbanks, Alaska. Most recently, Dr. Hutchison worked as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University.

Dr. Hutchison performs a wide variety of surgical procedures including cosmetic facial and body surgery, reconstruction of facial and body deformities for congenital, traumatic and cancer disorders, all aspects of hand surgery including elective and traumatic hand disorders, along with congenital deformities such as cleft lip and palate repair, ear pinning, and hand abnormalities.

His personal interests include jogging, reading, flying, learning to play music, and losing to his wife in Scrabble.
